Nataliya Vyetrova
Founder, CEO

Nataliya Vyetrova is a Ukrainian-born sustainable fashion adviser and Art director with 15 years of experience in the fashion and construction industries. During this time, Nataliya worked and lived in Europe, Canada, and now the US. During the first two months of the Russian inversion, she left everything and spent time as a volunteer in Ukraine, helping multiple orphanages in the western part of the country. The freedom of her homeland has always been a priority for her. After coming back to the US, she founded the organization with the purpose of helping the most vulnerable people in Ukraine - children. 

Thad Cummings
Board Director

Thad Cummings is the author of Running from Fear and Radical Compassion. After spending a decade running social enterprises and a non-profit, Thad’s world collapsed when he became ill and lost everything. After years of diving into physical and mental healing, he has pursued a new dream in the founding of Changing Company. Now, Thad shares his passion for bringing new conversations to the table where all voices are heard, barriers are broken, and the polarization of our community is diminished.

Vika Murovana
Board Director

Victoria Murovana is executive producer of kids content at National Public Broadcasting Company Suspilne. Supervisor of YouTube Channel Brobaks with safe animated series for kids of different ages. PR & Publicity Officer with 10+ years of experience in communications and brand strategy development. Worked with theatrical distributor of Hollywood Studios, Disney, Paramount, Universal, DreamWorks in Ukraine. From the beginning of russian large-scale invasion Volunteer at Lviv Humanitarian Headquarters. Victoria Murovana lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Yuliya Gerus
Project Manager

Yuliya Gerus has been a successful leader and great manager with experience in the construction industry and property management as a Project Director for over 17 years in Ukraine. Her professionalism, leadership, and knowledge of the real estate market helped her lead many projects with great success, where she introduced new quality standards, personnel evaluations, and crisis management. Yuliya was born, studied, and worked in Ukraine. When Russia’s full-scale invasion started in February 2022, she moved with her five-year-old son to Spain. She transferred her sense of life to working with social projects and helping children at UVF as the Project Manager of UVF programs.

Anita Abdeshahian
Board Director

Anita Abdeshahian is the co-founder and practice director of Javan Wellness, a Washington, D.C.-area-based wellness clinic that has demonstrated a strong commitment to philanthropy since its inception in 2018.  Anita previously worked for the Department of Defense, spending much of her time providing training to Marines fighting against ISIS and the greater War on Terror.  Her broad-based public and private sector experience give her a unique vantage point with respect to coordinating projects from the concept stage through execution and product delivery.

Ivanna Risseh
Strategy, Cost Project Manager

Senior project management consultant and influential business leader focused on providing result-driven support in managing and planning investments related to construction and civil engineering projects. Her professional performance started in 2004. Ivanna is originally from Ukraine, now residing in Germany with her spouse. As a proud and patriotic citizen of Ukraine and a part of UVF, Ivanna will assist us in optimizing our internal processes, developing custom-tailored project management frameworks, and sharing the latest knowledge in the field with the best industry practices. In so doing, we can thus help ensure that the country is not only returned to its pre-war state but also has the necessary infrastructure to continue to develop and thrive once more in peace and prosperity.

Margaryta Suvorova
Formal Ambassador

Margaryta Suvorova is a successful healthcare practitioner based in Washington DC, and volunteered in the past to support children and women from the Afghan war. Born and raised in Ukraine, Margaryta never imagined one day those skills and experiences gained to support Afghans would be used to help children and orphans from her own country. Margaryta came to the United States to obtain her nursing education, working at Georgetown University Hospital before transitioning to the private sector. Her skills in healthcare, wellness and in supporting at-risk populations make her a vital member to the team.
