OUR MISSION
The Ukranian word, “Volya” means “liberty and will”. The liberty to breathe, and live exist in times of peace, but War strips people of these undeniable rights.
The mission of the Ukraine Volya Foundation, at a minimum, is to ensure that Ukranian children of war do not lose their “volya” due to the trauma inspired from experiencing the horrors of war. To accomplish this, UVF provides humanitarian aid to meet the daily living needs, along with social, emotional, and psychological services for children suffering from all wars, in particular, the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
UVF cares for the hearts, minds, and well-being of child victims of the war in Ukraine, especially orphaned youth.
UVF supports children impacted by the war in Ukraine by providing them with food, medicine, clothing, and toys. These essential resources, coupled with UVF’s coordination and delivery of specialized training to psychologists, teachers, physical therapists, and other professionals, eliviate the pain and despair suffered by innocent children.
Providing quality care to children orphaned by war requires the integration of organizations, local volunteers, and committed donors. Through partnerships and collaborations with the Ukrainian government, other organizations supporting children, and local communities, UVF will bridge the gap in resources and capacity building.
