Pavlo’s story

There is a little story of incredible kids Nataliya met in Lviv, Ukraine.

Pavlo is an orphan with a level 2 disability. His parents were deprived of parental rights when he was 11-12 years old and died a few years after the event.

He spent years in an orphanage until the age of 18. According to him, he was happier living in the orphanage than with his parents. He graduated from college and received financial help from the Ukrainian government.

When the war broke out, he and his friend, another orphan, began working for the Lviv orphanage center, unloading trucks and helping with everything necessary. They work from morning till night and are proud of their usefulness. Despite the hard life, Nataliya saw them daily and admired their inner strength and positivity.

One day, Pavlo showed his old Nokia phone, back in the 90s, which was given to him by an acquaintance during the war and which he had to return. But unfortunately, his phone was stolen in the hospital couple of months before the war.

Life was not very gentle to him, but he did not lose a smile and was always in a good mood.

Nataliya decided to present him a gift - a new phone. He did not expect to receive something and asked her many times if it was for him and why she wanted to help.

Thank the donors for helping us make the children who need it most happy. A small gift made Pavla incredibly happy! Our little victories every day! Glory to Ukraine!
